THE CROCUS FOUNDATION

What first began as the Survivorship Program in 2021 at Volv Fitness has expanded into a referral-based exercise program for cancer survivors known as The Crocus Foundation. In 2024, they engaged Gronen to create a dedicated space on the first floor of the Dupaco Voices Building. The tenant buildout transformed a white box shell into a warm, functional environment designed to support movement, consultation, and healing.

 

The scope of work included steel stud framing and drywall for new demising walls and a private consultation and massage room, along with a mix of durable, performance-focused finishes such as polished concrete, turf, and rubber puzzle tile flooring. A custom reception desk was incorporated to anchor the entry experience, and the project was completed with full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing finishes, resulting in a thoughtfully designed space tailored to the unique needs of The Crocus Foundation and its community.
