
MAINTENANCE TECH
Summary
A maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring that facilities and equipment operate efficiently and safely. Primary duties include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, conducting repairs, and maintaining various systems on residential and commercial buildings.
Additionally, maintenance technicians are tasked with documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with other departments as necessary, and adhering to safety protocols to mitigate risks. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all tasks related to Property Maintenance to include but not limited to:

Electrical Repair

Appliance Repair

Plumbing

HVAC Repair

Landscaping
-
Custodial
-
Snow Removal
Preventative Maintenance on building mechanicals

Motors
-
HVAC
-
Boilers
Operate a tablet/smart phone to utilize maintenance software.
Participating in an on-call rotation
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid Driver’s License
-
HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing certifications are welcome, but not required
Physical Demands
The physical demands will require climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
